Day 3: Niagara Falls, Canada

You never know who you are going to run into when you travel, we had some strange looking biker "wanna be's" join us for breakfast on Sunday morning. Keith and Jeanette drove from Canton, OH to Pennslyvania and into New York so that we could caravan to Niagara Falls together - who knew they would be wearing dew rags when they walked into the dining area for breakfast!! When we drove out of the parking lot it was dry but foggy, however; we traveled about one block and hit a downpour. Unfortunately, we did not have our rain gear on so we pretty much got soaked to the skin. All four of us crowded under a four foot awning to put on our gear & took off for the Falls. At least we were dressed for the mist coming off the falls:)


We stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel across the street from Niagara Falls - we could not believe the spectacular view from our rooms on the 30th floor. It was breath taking! The hotel was amazing and after getting settled in we walked down to the Falls....pictures will be coming. Everybody should visit this place - it is amazing!! All the pictures are coming from Randy's phone so we are still perfecting the downloads. Niagara, the city, is really beautiful and there is so much to do and see. We enjoyed the parks, the shops and the diversity of people. We headed back to the hotel for the Manager's reception & a wonderful dinner looking out over the lighted falls. At 10PM, we enjoyed a Fireworks Display from the dining room.

Sunday's travels included only 2 hours of driving time but we were in PA, NY, & Ontario, Canada.
