We arose to a very wet & rainy morning and it had rained hard all night long (free bike wash!). We had a somewhat lazy morning (no workout or walk for most of us). After a good breakfast and devotional, we decided to go on the Trolley tour of Mackinaw City. Very interesting and dry! We bailed off the trolley on the U.P. side of the tour and jumped on the Ferry to Mackinaw Island as the rain had stopped and the sun was coming out. We ate lunch on our arrival to the island then spent the whole afternoon riding bicycles completly around the outer road and throughout the town (10 mile ride). Went and toured the Grand Hotel, which opened in 1887 and is quite interesting! Then, we decided it was high time for ice cream & fudge! We returned to the mainland for supper and bed (except for us bloggers who are also doing laundry).
